Sometimes a photo with a composition I really like falls short when editing, especially with the colour correction needed for underwater photos, so I made these a warm toned grayscale! What-dya think? (at Right Arch, Cirkewwa)

The P29 Wreck was a really interesting dive. So much life has made its home on this chunk of wreckage isolated on a sandy seabed 37 metres down about 150m off the coast of Cirkewwa. I only wish I had the nerve to stick my head in that hole to see what’s lurking below deck! Malta, 2019 (at P29 Wreck)

Making our way back to the exit point on the wall dive at Cirkewwa. Never enough time to see the whole wall, but never the same twice. (at Ċirkewwa)

Day 3 of Malta: On the north coast I had a chilled day shadowing an open water lesson on a wall dive from Cirkewwa which I revisited later in the week. Spotted a shy wee octopus as well. (at Ċirkewwa)

The Beautiful Blue Grotto of Malta. Enough said. The island in the distance however is called Filfla and it was used as target practice for shore defence artillery during WWII. Malta was instrumental in resisting Axis forces advancement awarded the George Cross for the heroism and devotion of its people. This is why it appears in the national flag! #themoreyouknow (at Blue Grotto (Malta))

Some of the stunning southern coastline of Malta around the famous Blue Grotto. The cliffs are full of hard to access caves high and low that look as if some were man-made in ancient times. (at Blue Grotto (Malta))
